Update: I noticed that I had missed the Machariel (doh!). Have updated the file on EVE-Files with the new one containing the Mach (Picture number 17738 for those who wish to just copy the one file).

Update: I have linked a second file which contains updated pictures for the 3 Electronic Attack Ships and 3 Heavy Interdictors without the T2 tags.

Not really a mod, but a replacement set of faction pictures for the EVE-Killboard and the 6 T2 ships that do not display T2 tags (3 Heavy Dictors and 3 Electronic Attack Ships).

Someone kindly told me how to display faction/officer/deadspace tags on items, but these did not appear on the ships themselves, or on the ships inside the actual kill page. So I have used the 'ship value' area of the admin panel to find the IDs of all the faction ships, and have photoshopped the faction tag in the left hand corner of all the 32x32 and 64x64 images. This means that the pictures of faction ship kills on the home page, kills page and losses page will display these small red tags.

I don't have the picture of the Apotheosis or the new faction cruisers (waiting for CCP), but if anyone sends me the 32x32 and 64x64 pics of them, I'll add the tags and upload them in a separate file for those that use them.

To 'install' just copy the pictures from the folders to the img/ships/32_32 and 64_64 folder respectively and choose yes to overwrite them.

no t2/faction/deadspace items/ships have the tag on them...

what the killboard does, is overlay the symbol on top of the t1 variant images....

there was no need to do this... if they aren't displaying on your killboard then you are doing something wrong..

A pity they weren't anti-aliased.

the icons are already present... they supposed to overlay.. if they arent, soemthing isnt set right on your killboard .. just brosse to your own img directory on kb

The items are overlaid, but the ships are not. I checked over every setting in the admin area of the killboard and could not find a setting to enable it. Unless my and some other killboards are severely bugged then the faction/officer/deadspace tag options on the fitting mod settings area only overlay items, not ships (which makes sense if you actually think about it...).

If your ship images are automatically overlaid with faction tags then good for you, but some of ours aren't and this provides an easy fix without digging through code.

As for the T2 ships, on my killboard (and others), 6 ships were not displaying T2 tags properly (the 3x EAS and 3x HICs as already stated) and a quick look at the images already in the unmodded killboard image folder shows that the rest of the T2 ships have T2 tags pre-applied, not applied with the tag overlays after loading on each page as per item pictures.

According to eve-files (thanks Chribba!) these files have each been grabbed quite a few times each so others seem to agree with me.



I'm quite busy irl at the moment fisk, but once I get a chance I'll load them all up with photoshop again and either create a new double sized faction tag (if I have the time), or just run them through the process of taking the jaggies off the oversized tags.
