Is there a possibility to run both a corp and a alliance board from the same database and is there some disadvantages ?
Is it better to have 2 db's?

    regards!

    btw, running edk 3.

As long as they have a different id for each board in the kbconfig.php it works fine. They can also share all their files, other than kbconfig.php.

No special issues. All killmail information is shared between the boards but that's it. The only way to access things like api keys is to upload modified code onto the host.

This has been a standard feature of EDK for a long time so it's well tested.
