EDK 3.0.9

Version 3.0.9 has been tested with 5.3.1 and MySQL 5.1.
(For PHP4 support see EDK 2.0)

Requirements
- Webserver (e.g. Apache)
- PHP 5.0+ (5.2+ recommended)
- MySQL 5.0+
- GD 2 or higher
- PHP MySQLi Extension
- PHP Safe Mode off.

New Installations
- Upload the whole package to a webhost
- Point your webbrowser to /install inside the EDK directory
- Follow the instructions
- Delete the install folder after installation
- If no pilot images are displayed check that the server has write permission to the cache folder.

Upgrading
- Backup the existing database and files
- Rename existing killboard folder
- Upload the new package in its place
- Copy kbconfig.php from the old folder to the new
- If using the upgrade files, copy or move the old img folder to the new installation
- Go to [boardurl]/update/ and follow the instructions.
- After installation you can move old mods to the new mods folder. While old mods will work with EDK3, EDK3 specific versions are recommended.
- If no pilot images are displayed check that the server has write permission to the cache folder.

Congratz on all of the hard work you guys have put in..3.0 is 10xs better than the old 2.x

I downloaded and installed 3.0 last night.

Including importing all my data, took around 30 minutes. Well done guys, runs like a champ.

I especially like that the single pilot mod was incorporated into this version, makes my life much easier.

Hmmm my kills don't seem to display, just losses.. We don't fail that hard!
I was upgrading from a borked rev 488 which had the date bug still, copied the sql into new db's, upgraded 488 to 490 which fixed the bug, upgrading 488 to EDK3 seems to have lost me the kills... Any thoughts?

Also is there an svn up for EDK3?

The development is taking place on http://evedev-kb.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ (that's the SVN checkout URL).

IIRC http://evedev-kb.googlecode.com/svn/branches/3.0 will get 3.0 bugfixes etc.

It sounds as if the involved tables haven't been constructed correctly. Try going to boardurl/update/index.php?do=force&level=011

I'll add the stable EDK3 releases to the eve-id svn (without images), but the development will be on the google svn.

If you're having problems with the speed when loading a campaign, replace common/includes/class.toplist.php with this.

Tried it for a couple of times now. Keep getting the following error after a succesfull install:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysqli_connect() in /home/domain/public_html/killboard/common/includes/class.db.mysqli.php on line 21


This is line 21..

What am i doing wrong!?
